To the Church in Sardis

3 “And to the angel of the church in ^(A)Sardis write:

This is what He who has ^(B)the seven Spirits of God and ^(C)the seven stars, says: ‘^(D)I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, ^[a]but you are ^(E)dead. ² Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God.
